How to setup your corporate iPad

Powering on your iPad:

1.  Using the button on the top left, press and hold for a few seconds until you see the apple logo:

   

Initial setup:

1. After power on, your iPad will greet you with a welcome screen:

   

2. Select your language:

   

3. Select your country:

   

4. Select your Appearance and tap Continue:

   

5. Next, Tap Set Up without Another Device:

   

6. Select the corporate Wi-Fi Network 'fishnet' or your home network:

   

7. Enter the wifi password:

   

8. Once joined, tap Continue:

   

9. The device will now active:

   

10. Next tap Enroll this iPad:

    

11. When Device Management pops up, sign in with your ki-life.com account by entering your email:

    

12. Choose 'Work or school account' at the prompt:

    

13. Next, choose a way to sign in.  The authenticator app is the easiest method:

    

14. Enter the code provided from your device with the authenticator app:

    

15. The devices will now receive its configuration from InTune Device Management which will take a moment:

    

16. Next, tap Continue and follow the on screen instructions to setup your fingerprint for Touch ID:

    

17. Place your finger on the top of the button lightly, do not press down hard to activate the button or it will lock iPad.

    

18. Next, start to capture the edges of your fingerprint.

    

19. Lift and rest the edge of your finger on the Top button repeatedly.  Light presses are best here aswel.

    

20. After you have finished scanning your fingerprint, click Continue:

    

21. You may now choose to setup another fingerprint from the other hand or to move forward, tap "Set Up Later in Settings.

    

22. Next step is to create a passcode.  Current policy requires a 6 digit numeric passcode avoiding repeating and common patterns such as 000000 or 123456.  Enter your passcode twice to move forward.

    

23. Next, choose if you would like to have Full Screen Apps like on iPhone or Full Screen & Windowed Apps like MacOS.  For smaller screen such as the iPad Mini, Full Screen is recommended.

    

24. Next you will arrive at the home screen.  All of the apps provisioned to the device will start to populate the empty space on the home screen, swipe the screen to see the other apps being installed.

    

25. To finalize enrollment, tap the Company Portal App and tap Sign in to authenticate with your @ki-life.com credentials:

    

26. After completing authentication, tap the OK button and then Allow to get notified by the Company Portal app:

    

27. Next tap Begin to start the enrollmnet process:

    

28. If prompted for a device category, choose iOS Devices and tap Continue:

    

29. Your device will continue the enrollment process, when finished, tap Done:

    

30. Your iPad is now setup and ready for use.
